CONCLUDING REMARKS
Where do we go from here? If you are on medications, stay on them and
do what your doctor says. If you are seeing a Christian counselor,
psychologist, or psychiatrist, continue doing so. If you are meeting
with a pastor, keep doing so. If you have a support group with which
you meet, keep doing so. There is nothing wrong with any of these
resources. If you also want to discover the root cause for lie based
thinking in order to hear the truth of God's Word through the Lord
Jesus Christ, you will need to locate an intercessor who knows how to
pray with others in order that lies can be exposed and healing be
achieved. For those who simply do not believe in any other
possibility than "professional" help, by all means, do what you feel
is best.
Demons are something very few Christians want to address. Most
refuse to believe they have anything to do with a Christian's life
whatsoever. They believe it was all settled at the cross for them.
This is ok. No one is saying you have to consider demons as part of
the problem of lie based thinking. However, if you are going to be
involved with intercessory prayer, you should find someone who knows
their authority in Christ and who is familiar with what to do, and not
do, during a prayer session if demons manifest because they will
manifest even if you do not believe in them.
Finally, my prayer for you is that you live a totally maintenance
free victory life in Christ as Lord and Savior.
