DISCLAIMER

During my last two years of high school, let's see now, that was
1968 through June of 1970 as I recall, I discovered I loved to write.
Actually, I knew it when I was 13 years of age but did very little
writing till I was about 15 years old. As I was saying, during the
last two years of high school, I not only really got into writing but
I had two different English teachers try to convince me I should
consider writing professionally. I figured they were joking.
Besides, they had no idea how hard writing was on a standard, I am not
referring to an electric, typewriter as a totally blind person.

When I got my first computer in December of 1989, the first thing
I did was begin to learn how to use a word processor. I immediately
began writing. Wow! What a difference a computer made.

Clicking around my websites, you will discover lots of E-
     articles, E-booklets, E-books, and even E-novels. Yes, I've tried
publishing and even was published nationally a couple of times. It
was a semi-technical article about a special design for an antenna I
made for my ham radio hobby. This international ham radio magazine
published my article and paid me five dollars. I felt rich. I had
actually been paid for something I wrote. It has not happened,
     unfortunately, since then.

As I began working on this book, a very good friend who was
helping me proof read the manuscript, suggested that perhaps the Lord
would use my first Christian novel to financially provide for me and
my family. That sounded good to me because it secretly had always
been my life's dream. Once the Lord put me into the ministry I now
have, I realized selling the book would mean people would have to pay
for it. Brilliant, I know. Finally I made the decision to allow the
book to be read for free.

The purpose of what I am writing now is to let you know that I am
not a professional. That means, I'm not really an author; just a
writer. You'll find mistakes in these pages because I find mistakes
every time I read it. So much for having the manuscript edited. At
least I got to pick my own title even if I didn't get paid.

I have written, and sold, ebooks on the internet in the past and
considered doing that with this Christian novel but quickly dismissed
it from my mind. I just don't feel right about charging. No, I don't
mind if a publisher reads the book and wants to publish it and wants
to pay me, too. That would be nice. I still will make it available
on one of my websites free of charge, however. Publishers, even
Christian publishers, don't like you doing that. Why? They enjoy
making a profit. I guess I can't blame them for that because I enjoy
making a profit myself. Strange, though, I never seem to make a
profit now that I work for the Lord. One nice perk being employed by
Jesus is that you can never be fired. Well, you can, if you don't
watch what you are doing, but I hope you get my drift.

Yes, if you find mistakes, feel free to email me. I have caught
several errors relating to the time line of events. Just about the
time I feel I have fixed them all, another appears. I also have a
terrible habit of not capitalizing the first letter in a sentence.
This is especially true with words beginning with the letter S or T,
or any letter that requires using the little finger on the right hand
to press the shift key. The little finger on my right hand is weak
and if I'm not careful, certain words are easily left uncapitalized.
So let me know if you find such mistakes. I also paragraph poorly.
This all means changes will be made frequently to the online book as I
hear from others who proof read and write a whole lot better than I
     do.

Frankly, there is just a whole lot I really don't know about good
writing but I hope you share your knowledge with me and more than
that, I hope you enjoy the story and that the Holy Spirit ministers
     truth to you.
